Wii Fit Day: 197
BMI: 27.78
Work outs:
- Morning – Wii fit: Yoga and strength training in the morning.
- Afternoon – Wii Fit: aerobics of some sort or walking to get kiddo #1 from school.
Notes – The Ugly:
Ugh. I do so darned good on Thanksgiving and the day after. But on my lowest weight day Saturday morning, I started to blow it. :p Factors are probably: Lack of will power around a TON of food. (I couldn’t escape food this week. Especially at my Aunt and Uncle’s 50th Anniv on Sat afternoon.) Serious lack of sleep. (A fair share my own fault and choice.) Moodiness. (And I was foolish enough to tell Tara I didn’t think this was as much of a factor for me anymore.)
Notes – The Good:
Yesterday I did get to walk outside to pick up kiddo #1 from school. How could I pass up on what’s likely the last 50 degree day? (Two inches of snow outside today.)
Have exercised several days in a row after the holiday break.
Got to see my parents and my bro. Dad brought deer jerky and sausage. Good stuff (not bad for me either)!
And the Applets and Cotlets are gone. They can’t call to me anymore. They won’t enter my house again for a good while. (Someday – just not soon.)

Hey Avlor, don’t beat yourself up about it.
Just dust yourself off and redouble your efforts.
It was my son’s birthday today and I have eaten about a TON of those godawful mini chocolates that if I put them all together make more chocolate than I would eat in a month!
But it was one day and tomorrow I am going to make a real effort to stick with it and treat my body kindly!
I am with Tara. You just move on and keep pushing.
Definately will. Re-reading the post it sounds much more down on myself than I feel. Thanks for the encouragement – you guys rock.
Honest reporting can sometimes seem like you’re being harsh on yourself but it’s good to cut to the chase sometimes.
Keep going Avlor. We all have difficulty sticking to our plans. You’e doing fine!
loosing weight is hard…just keep working at it and you’ll get to your goal weight. Im dreading having to loose weight again after I have this baby. all the dieting and working out….it just so much work. by the way…..how do like the Wii Fit? Ive been thinking about getting one so I can work out while the kids sleep…after the baby is born of course. My hubby would love for me to get back to a size 1 some day….dont think it will ever happen after 3 kids….but who knows….miracles happen everyday.
Catharine – I love my wii fit. It’s second only to walking my kiddo back and forth to school on a nice day. I’m not the type to go to a gym- it means having to take extra time to get there. But it takes about 1 min to get the wii fit up and going in my home where no one but family will see me. They set up the wii fit program well and it was like a game for me for the first month. Still more fun than other exercise things (except walking with my kiddo), and I’ve been doing it since May.
It is hard at times. But I’ve been slowly learning to change my lifestyle to fit and I’ve not seen the extremes that dieting brings. Ups and downs – but the overall trend has been down. I look at that chart from May to now and it helps keep me going.
