Drool – Epson Artisan 800 printer/scanner

Today, I saw that Simplemom (fabulous blog that it is) is reviewing and actually giving away an Epson Artison 800 printer/scanner.  Oh, my – this looks like such a sweet printer! And with wifi ta-boot!  (The fewer cables to have to deal with the better!)

I really enjoy printing my own photos (usually 8×10 portraits of my kiddos) on my little printer.  I can just imagine the amount of ink and paper I could go through if I had one of these printers to tinker with and try!   The photo lay outs feature would be a blast to tinker with for photos to share with family.  The printing resolution (4800dpi) looks awesome.  I get decent prints with 1200dpi on my little printer – what could I do with 4800…sigh.

Wiping the drool from my chin now…  (Maybe I can pool my b-day, christmas and allowance for a while – because the chances of winning it are slim.  But I still am trying!)

(So yes, this is a shameless way to get another entry into the contest.  Feel free to do the same.  ;)

Wait til you have to buy cartridges for it. While you may be happy now, you will start to cry when you have to buy a full set for around $60-$80.

Me cry? No. I’ve always had to have a printer ink budget. I looked up the price for ink for that printed, it’s comparable to what I pay now. For better prints, that I can “control” how they look – I am willing to pay for ink.

    Shame is for losers!

Talk like it’s already yours and dman everyone else.

Er OK, maybe that’s a little strong, but seriously I hope you win it.

I saw how many people entered. Shocker.

    When is the winner picked?

    :D
