Sour dough starter, no evidence!, and willy tree country
On the 9th I joined Joy the Baker in making sour dough starter with just water and flour. The first day it smelled great and was so bubbly it threatened to escape my jar. Day 3 and I’m a bit concerned about it. Doesn’t smell as good and not as bubbly. Will have to go read the directions again.

THERE IS NO EVIDENCE OF AN ALMOST GIGANTIC OATMEAL DISTASTER IN MY KITCHEN. My cardboard oatmeal container decided to break today. Well, I had to find a new container while trying to minimize the amout of oats all over my cupboards and counters. Hubby will not have to know that I was dumb and left the container on it’s side and that’s why it went Kablooey. Whew!

Evidently I live in the land of “Willy Trees” according to my youngest child. The kids recently discovered the thrill of swinging on a bundle of weeping willow vines and my youngest now spots them everywhere.

Willy Trees, that’s a fantastic name for them. Reading that actually remided me that I used to do that as a child. Ah, seems a long time ago now.
and Ooooops with the oatmeal. Hehehehehe
Willy trees! Priceless.
Thank goodness we don’t have a Willow tree anywhere near our house because my son would become obsessed! He’s obsessed enough as it is with his own willy, let alone anything that looks like one!
