Odd day to start a geocache

Odd day to start a geocache

Not quite raining cats and dogs as we drove to the site to start a new geocache and drop off the travel bug coin.  Despite the rain, we opted to keep going.   When we got out of the cars it slowed and we were able to enjoy starting the new cache.  (Our first one.)  The rainy season here is one of my favorite times.

In the Japanese Language arena: Up to 4 lessons every 2 weeks (3 newbie and 1 Yojijukugo/idioms) in the Japanese Pod 101 lessons and 1 in the Remembering the Kanji.

This week I hit one of those golden moments where combining the kanji lessons and the newbie lessons really paid off.  I was able to recognize most of the kanji in the lesson, even though the vocabulary was new.  I finally felt like things were starting to fall into place!  (Happy dance!)   My vocabulary is still incredibly limited, but I think I’m on the right path.
