Menu Plan Monday and an orchid (again)
I don’t normally do menu plans on Monday, as I usually shop on Wed when the sales flyers are out. But I planned today – have to shop tomorrow do to a class for my daughter on Wed. So for the fun of joining on on Menu Plan Monday. I plan for 2 weeks (or until I can do another major shopping trip). But I love looking at what Menu Plan Monday brings. So for once I’ll share too.

(Thu) Bite-size chicken teriyaki for bento boxes (w/ rice balls)

(Sun) Cardamom Honey Chicken
(Mon) Chicken Noodle Soup
(Tue) Pork Chops
(Wed) Moroccan Meatballs
(Thu) Salmon Salad (I mash it up and we have it on crackers with cream cheese)
(Fri) ??? (will plan next week after meeting with Bible Study)
(Sat) Baked Potatoes
(Sun) Sesame Chicken and Soba Noodles
(Mon) Chicken Pot Pie
(Tue) Manicotti

We had to make a run to Walmart Saturday. And I can’t go to that store with out walking by the plants. So I was trying to walk BY them (not TO them) and I spotted Phalaenopsis orchids and I was sucked in. Completely failed the will save roll on that one. So another orchid found it’s way into my house. Meet “Sally”:
(I’m getting better at the pictures…this one only took a few minutes to setup with black mat board 1 flash (goboed with more black mat board and bits of velcro and craft foam). I love my Canon 580exII flash. I’d wondered about the wisdom of buying it and I don’t no longer. But I was bad and forgot to take a picture of the setup for this one, since it was the first setup on my counter top. Grr.)
