Oat flour via coffee grinder?
2008 February 29
Strange thoughts enter my brain some days. Today’s was wacky, yet semi-practical. I roast and grind my own coffee and I loathe unitasker machines. So I tried grinding oats (just plain old quaker oats) into flour today with the coffee grinder. There’s just something pleasing about grinding things to an absolutely pulverized state. Seemed to work just fine.
Don’t have time to try to use the flour into something but will report back when I have tried the flour. (With wheat/flour prices rising – this may come in handy.)
