Easter Dress Complete!

Tired and ready for bed, but dress is complete. May make a shrug to go with or try to find a sweater for her. (March is chilly here.) But my first lined dress is DONE! (Not perfect – but done well enough for my first one.

Quick update (2-28) : Showed the dress to my daughter this morning – she smiled from ear to ear and hugged it all the way to her closet. I even got a kiss for my efforts. Momma done good.

That is so gorgeous – I just had to come over from sew mama sew to tell you that. I’m sure your daughter will look beautiful in it.
That is so sweet, and so nice and springy after the winter. I can picture a little girl wearing it with a big, white bow in her hair (maybe decorated with little daisies?) You did an amazing job–I’d never guess that was your first lined dress.
